NASA has selected eight companies eligible to compete for future lunar surface delivery missions under CLPS 2, a 10-year master contract with a combined maximum value of $10 billion. 3

The figure is a shared ceiling across a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity framework, rather than a spending total or a fixed allocation to each company. 3

The eight are Blue Origin, Firefly Aerospace, Intuitive Machines, iSpace US, Lockheed Martin Space, Northrop Grumman Space Systems, SpaceX and Voyager Technologies. NASA says their services cover managing, building and operating landers for science, technology and infrastructure payloads. 3

Bloomboff's take

The useful follow-up is actual mission orders: who flies what, for how much, and when. Gravity still gives zero shits about procurement paperwork.

Update, November 8, 00:06 UTC: Revised after reviewing NASA's November 7 release, which confirms the roster and framework. The first version attributed the list to Paul Brinkmann. 1 3
