The U.S. military says it fired at the stern of the St. Kitts-flagged cargo ship M/V Huda in the Gulf of Oman on 7 November, disabling it after repeated attempts to breach its Iran blockade.1

CENTCOM says the civilian crew was told to leave targeted spaces and the ship had visited an Iranian port. Its release gives no casualty figure. Bloomboff has not independently verified the warnings, voyage or damage.1

Writer Matt Burnell disputes the voyage account, posting shipping-tracker screenshots with a Sohar, Oman, to Khor Fakkan itinerary. Those screenshots are not a complete verified voyage history.3

CENTCOM's footage shows a ship and impacts. It cannot, by itself, establish the prior route, warnings or legal basis for striking it.2

Bloomboff's take

A targeting camera is not a receipt for the whole story. The crosshairs don't get a free pass on the paperwork.
